May

The month of May has been a big month for us.  We've painted (BIG thank you to my Mom and Katie) and set up all the nursery furniture (BIG thank you to Nathan and Jeff)!  I'm still accessorizing and Mom is making the curtains, so I'll wait until we're finished to post pictures.  I absolutely LOVE it!

We visited NYC over Memorial Day and had a great time!!  This vacation was much needed!

To start the trip we got some fabulous news!!  When our plane landed I turned my phone on to this picture message :)  Yep, Campbell has another friend on the way and we can't wait to meet Baby Walker in November!!!  Big Congrats to Cotman (Jennifer) and Britt!!!

During our stay in New York we did everything... From China Town to Ground Zero to a Carriage Ride in Central Park.  Here are a few pictures.

Not only did we arrive in NYC to great news, but we returned home to more great news!! Courtney delivered their sweet babies, James and Mattie Rose!  Congrats to Courtney and Kyle!!  Check out these cuties... I stole the pic from facebook (Thanks Court!)  

And here is an update on Campbell.  We're getting there... Just 12 weeks to go.  :)  Campbell is somewhere between 2-3 lbs and around 14-15 inches.  He's definitely a growing boy and he's on the move!  Less than 3 months until his arrival.  We can't wait!

Moving along...

The past few months have been beyond busy.  I've been to Memphis, Florida and hard at work on all things nursery in Atlanta.  I've finally picked out a paint color for the walls and fabric for the bedding and curtains.  The glider and dresser both came in this week too.  Now I just need to put it all together.  We'll start on that the weekend after Memorial Day when my family comes to visit :)  Glad they don't mind helping! 

I've also narrowed down a list of daycares for when I return to work after maternity leave.  Believe it or not, I started looking when I was just 13 weeks pregnant and people are still ahead of me on the wait lists for a January 2013 start date.  It's like a lifetime movie and believe me, I will be the crazy lady who bribes, begs, whatever to get Campbell into the very best Day School.  That's ok right?

Speaking of Campbell, he has made a good bit of progress.  He's growing like crazy and so am I.  Nathan felt him kick for the first time Wednesday night and I don't think he's stopped moving since.

During the month of April some friends and I hosted a baby shower for Courtney in Memphis!  I can't believe those babies are almost here.  Could be any day now and I can't wait to meet them :)  Somehow I didn't manage one pic with Court, but these will do.

Our Sweet Baby BOY!

Katie and Clay hosted a Gender Reveal Party at thier house Saturday night for Nathan and I.  We can't thank them enough!! :)  And my Mom for helping plan!  We all had such a great time and it was a wonderful way to find out the gender of our first baby.  

My two furry nieces also joined in the fun wearing pink and blue to represent thier guesses.

And we couldn't leave the park without this picture.  I know everyone remembers taking the exact same one when they were 6.  

I couldn't do the roller coasters, but I did get some good pics of everone else :)

We spent the rest of the weekend relaxing, cooking out and spending time with family!  Baby Best hit 17 weeks on Sunday so we took a picture.  He/she is the size of a baked potato (About 5 ounces and a little over 5 inches.  Baby B is growing and so am I.  :)  We find out Easter weekend what we'll be having.

Our family is growing!!!  Just after Christmas we came back to Atlanta and fell back into our routine quickly.  Until... Dec 29th and our whole world turned.  In a wonderful way!  We found out we are expecting our first child.  Due Septemeber 2nd!  We were about 4.5 weeks.  You know, it's funny... because I had a strange feeling eating at me the night before telling me I was pregnant.  I confessed my thoughts to Nathan and we brushed them away.  There wasn't really any good reason I should think this way, but it kept nagging at me.  Those who know me well also know Katie and I had another sister, Krista, who passed away when she was 11.  December 28th was her 31st birthday and I truly believe it was her telling me the news because she knew first!  She always has been my guardian angel :)

We spent the night skyping and calling our families to share the big news!  Yeah, we didn't wait to share with everyone.  Just you all!

I'm currently 14 weeks along and moving into the second trimester.  1/3 of the way there!  Woohoo!  I've had a fairly easy time so far.  Other than fatigue and my forever growing appetite I feel normal.  No morning sickness!  Thank goodness.  :)  I'm not as tough as some of my friends.  

Here is our little bambino at 7 weeks.  He/she is tiny, but you could see our baby's heartbeat pounding away on the ultrasound screen.  Seeing this was the most amazing feeling.

And because I want to be able to look back on the different weeks of pregnancy I'm taking pictures. :)  I should have started when we found out, but I was lazy.  Very lazy.

8 weeks!

As of 4 weeks ago I had already gained 2 lbs...and that was on top of whatever I gained over Christmas.  Yeesh!  I'm guessing its more like 4 now, but we shall see at our doctor appointment tomorrow!  Thank goodness Mom is coming this weekend and we're going shopping!  For clothes, nursery, strollers, all things baby :)  Please keep Nathan and I, but mostly Baby B in your prayers.
